Weston All-Purpose Seed, Nut and Spice Grinder Review

I tried to grind almonds with this mill this morning and I had a difficult time getting any results. I ground steel cut oats with this mill this evening and the results were very good. I got almost a cup of oat flour with 1/2 a cup of steel cut oats.

Clearly, this mill works best with dry oil free grains. It's sturdy well made and I believe it'll be very useful. The main reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because It doesn't work well with nuts and it's tin coated cast iron. Stainless steel would've been ideal.

I purchased this Weston tenderizer 1month ago. It fits Weston grinders and also Cabela's grinders. It is a great tenderizer for the money from Unbeatable Sales. The unit is very well made. Run your sliced meat through the tenderizer once, then run it through again, turning it 90 degrees and you will have perfect tenederized piece of meat.

Progressive International GT3278 Grapefruit Knife Review

Like this product for I prepare grapefruits daily.It is very helpful.
I would not recommend this for a dishwasher though for it has very sharp
blades on both ends and could damage your dishwasher if it got loose.
Very helpful kitchen tool.

Cuisinart 6-Millimeter Thick Slicing Disc, fits 7 and 11-Cup Processors Review

I like this blade much better than the original slicing blade that came with my machine.I hardly call this a "thick slicing blade", more like a medium blade.They should have packaged this one with the machine and sold the standard one as the "thin slicing blade".

This does a much better job, but I could use a real thick blade as well.A quarter inch is hardly thick!

This product did all it was expectged to do with no problems. The clean up was easy and fast. Set up was also fast and easy for anyone to do from the beginner to to Pro. It is a durable product and the accessories were of good quality. I would recomend it to any first time user for a fast and dependable grinder to get the job done. This is a good product.

Nigella Lawson Bliss Parmesan Grater, Beech Review

I find myself buying all sorts of graters all the time, in my opinion the way I cut or grate any ingredient changes how it tastes even if in a minimal way. I have been using the Microplane to grate my parmesan but often found that I would end up cutting myself while grating, enough was enough and after remembering that Nigella has used this on her show I decided to give it a try. This little item is small enough that storage is never a problem and it looks so gosh darn cute. The handle is ergonomic and fits perfectly in my palm, the soft dry wood feels comforting (today's world has way too much plastic in it) and the thick metal plate attached for grating does a phenomenal job - and is very easy to wash, no hidden particles anywhere.

Even the smallest piece of hard cheese can be turned into a fluffy snow like mound and it tastes delicious melting in the mouth. Depending on the size of the item I'm grating ( usually just Parmesan) I will most likely hold the cheese steady and rub the grater over it but it can be used in reverse as well. This also comes housed in the cutest little box with tissue, super for gift giving to anyone with a kitchen.
